Flavours in Brisbane

This past weekend I went to Southbank on the Brisbane River just for a day out with my family.  We met up with my Mum and Dad and found out that the Regional Flavours Festival of South East Queensland was on.
Food in Brisbane has come along way in the last few years.  Many great chefs from Sydney and Melbourne have opened new restaurants in Brisbane, one in particular is ARIA owned by Matt Moran.  I have been very excited to find many new French restaurants opening around town too.
I love food especially European inspired meals and particularly love travelling to other cities and trying lots of different restaurants.
Brisbane is now showcasing Australian cuisine, just take a look at some of these fantastic dishes served up to some very lucky guests at the Regional Flavors Festival.

How great does that all look?  Yum, wish I was lucky enough to be a special guest for the taste testing.
